The South Carolina Forestry Commission has enacted a complete and total burn ban across the state effective 4/7/2020.

The current ideal conditions for a potentially devastating wildfire coupled with a low inversion layer in the near future, which results in low laying smoke, were the reasons behind the ban. Under no circumstances may any burn, whether recreational or yard debris, be conducted.
